In 2014, we celebrated our honeymoon in Costa Rica, staying at the beautiful RIU Resort on the beach in Guanacaste. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the property’s tropical charm, pristine beaches, and the laid-back vibe that makes Costa Rica such a special destination.
Our days were filled with soaking up the sun, walking along soft sandy beaches, and indulging in the resort’s delicious cuisine. Evenings brought majestic sunsets, painting the sky in brilliant hues of orange, pink, and purple—a perfect backdrop for romantic strolls along the shore. The resort itself offered lush gardens, refreshing pools, and comfortable accommodations, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment.
A special bonus for us was that Cole got to experience the fun with us, making our honeymoon feel even more meaningful as a family adventure. Between the sun, sand, and serene beauty of Guanacaste, our honeymoon was not only a celebration of our marriage but also a treasured introduction to Costa Rica’s natural charm and warm, welcoming culture.
